Peace Lutheran Church and Preschool offers a wide variety of organizations and services. Its youth and missionary programs have gone to Alaska and Germany and have several volunteer opportunities. In the church, its choir includes all ages and instruments such as bells and brass. Peace Lutheran also hosts a variety of seasonal and community events. The Boar's Head Christmas festival features musical events and plays. It also hosts an Easter egg hunt, Last Supper recreation and pork sausage dinners.
The preschool opened in 1977 and served ages 3 to 5 from September to May. In 1997, it expanded to ages 2 to 12 and is open year round from 6am to 6pm. The school also provides a breakfast, lunch and an after-school snack.
