An assembly of Christ followers applying biblical truths to lives reborn in the new creation of the Messianic kingdom of Jesus Those of us that gather to "worship Him in spirit and in truth" on the Lord's day at 1010 North Oak Street, in Eldon, Mo., gather to do so as those in the first century did, described in Acts 2:42 and other passages "they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching" which includes both the application and study of God's word, teaching and preaching. "and to fellowship", for those in that day, included getting better acquainted, giving of their resources in an offering and lifting our voice in song, singing with thankfulness in our hearts to God. "to the breaking of the bread" which is also known as Communion, shared in by all those that have "recieved His word and were baptized'(acts 2:41) 'and to Prayer', we are often led in Prayers by the men of the congregation, as we all join and agree that God's will be done in all things. It is our hope that all who come and join us for worship and bible study will feel welcome and encouraged by God's Word and His people. It is a joy to have visitors and we also hope that you are blessed and refreshed for having been here.
