Northland Early Education Center, also known as NEEC, offers a range of education and therapy services for children with special needs. Established in 1981, it is licensed to serve more than 110 children up to the age of 5. The center provides services to children with various physical and mental disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, Asperger syndrome, epilepsy, autism, visual impairment, brain trauma and behavioral disorders. Northland Early Education Center focuses on the development of cognitive, social, communication and daily living skills of children. It is accredited with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Additionally, the center is recognized as an approved private agency by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Northland Early Education Center is located in Kansas City, Mo.
