Jaisy J Varges, DNP
Jaisy Varges, DNP, is a board-certified internal medicine nurse practitioner who sees patients 18 years and older. She provides preventative care, such as annual wellness exams, well-woman exams, vaccinations and manages acute and chronic illnesses. She treats a wide range of conditions, including asthma, allergies, colds and flu, diabetes, anxiety and depression, heart disease, high blood pressure and minor injuries. Jaisy believes in treating the whole person with compassion and values her patients' unique abilities, experiences, culture, values and norms. She fosters a safe and supportive environment where her patients are encouraged to share their feelings, concerns, and perspectives, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected. Jaisy enjoys going to the gym, cooking, gardening, and listening to gospel music and podcasts. She also loves traveling with her family, trying new foods, and sharing her travel and cooking tips. Jaisy is an active member of different organizations within her community, including her church, prayer group and St. Louis Advanced Practice Nurses. Jaisy earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner degree from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University and teaches virtual classes for nurses and nurse practitioners. This practice is a part of BJC Medical of Missouri.
