The National Psychology Training Consortium (NPTC) is a collaborative consortium of psychological and primary care service centers throughout the United States. Founded in 2003, NPTC focuses on training and preparing interns and residents to provide services to rural and underserved patients. With over 600 interns and residents trained since its inception, NPTC is committed to providing the necessary training and experiences for individuals to successfully complete their programs.
NPTC offers a doctoral psychology internship and provides training workshops, both live and through homestudy courses. The consortium follows the cues from its partner agencies regarding reporting to work and travel, and in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, NPTC is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its staff, interns, and supervisors. NPTC remains dedicated to its mission of training tomorrow's psychologists in the discipline and practice of psychology with rural and underserved patients.
