The MET Center is a strategic partnership created to stimulate the economic self-sufficiency of individuals living in low-income communities of the St. Louis, Mo. region. Serving the underemployed, unemployed and displaced workers, it delivers focused, comprehensive and accessible job training, placement, assessment, career development services and transportation services. The MET Center partners with St. Louis public schools to offer numerous short- and long-term academic skills enhancement and general education development (GED) programs. Some of its training programs include Missouri Work Assisstance, Green Initiative, Life Sciences, Business Office Applications Training, Construction Prep Center, Licensed Practical Nurse Program and Manufacturing Training Alliance.
