St. John's Mercy Health Care, located in St. Louis, runs the St. John's Mercy Medical Center and St. John's Mercy Hospital. The hospitals have a total of more than 1,600 licensed beds, and provide family medical care, medical education, research and community services. The St. John's Mercy Hospital is a more than a 180-bed acute care facility offering medical, surgical, obstetric and pediatric services. The institution is a member of the Sisters of Mercy Health System. The medical center is spread over an area of more than 80 acres. The campus includes a more than 850-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital, a 100,000-square-foot cancer center, health center for women and children, private rooms, a nursing center, and surgery center that provides inpatient and outpatient surgeries.
