Marshall is a city in Saline County, Missouri, United States. The population was 12,433 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Saline County,. The Marshall Micropolitan Statistical Area consists of Saline County. It is also home to Missouri Valley College. Marshall was named after the statesman and jurist John Marshall (1755–1835).
