Leen Al-Sayyed, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist who sees patients 18 years and older. She provides comprehensive care, including colorectal cancer screening, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, small bowel pill endoscopy and liver biopsy. She specializes in diagnosing and treating digestive diseases, including esophageal diseases, peptic ulcer disease, gastric diseases, pancreatic-biliary diseases, Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, colon cancer screening and all spectrum of liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver transplant evaluation and management. Dr. Al-Sayyed values providing information and guidance to help her patients make decisions about their treatment and care plans. She offers the latest techniques and therapies for treating gastrointestinal diseases and improving patients’ health. Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Al-Sayyed enjoys walking in nature, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Al-Sayyed earned her medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She completed a hepatology fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia and a gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
