Thelma (TJ) Sampson, FNP
Thelma “T.J.” Sampson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 18 years of nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and her Master of Science degree in nursing from Maryville University. Her specialties include endocrinology and weight management for patients 16 years of age and over. Before joining the SSM Health Medical Group, TJ worked at Medi-Weightloss Clinic in Chesterfield as a family nurse practitioner where she practiced in preventative medicine focusing on nutrition counseling and weight management. Her medical interests include diabetes, thyroid disorder, metabolism, weight management, nutrition science and exercise. Since 1998, TJ has had experience with multiple specialties including endocrinology, diabetes, cardiology, pulmonary, oncology, orthopedics, infectious disease, nephrology, hospice and gastroenterology in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
