Keep Kansas City Beautiful is one of the programs of Bridging the Gap, which is a nonprofit organization that spreads awareness amongst citizens of the city through various programs, community education and action. It works in partnership with individuals, business and government to create a cleaner Kansas City, Mo. Various programs offered by the organization, include business contract consulting services, buy fresh buy local, byproduct synergy, community recycling centers, choose environmental excellence, clean commute, Kansas City earthwalk and EarthFest, and leadership in environmental action projects. Its various affiliates include Environmental Excellence Business Network, Heartland Tree Alliance, Kansas City WildLands, and Shadowcliff Lodge and Retreat Center.
