Patients are my friends. They are people that are in my community. I'm just now meeting them for the first time in Lebanon, but I want to be approached like you're my friend and you know me. So that's the way I speak to patients. I learned that skill as a nurse and it has been something I've developed over time. And it's never failed me. If I could tell patients something about me that would help them know that I'm there for them, I would want them to know that I've probably been where you are, and I can understand where you're going-- what you 're going through, and I will listen. The most important thing is for me to listen to you and us work together as a team.
