The Church of the Nazarene followers state that despite the differences in beliefs and practices, most Christian churches still agree on 95 percent of Christian teaching. It reflects elements also practiced in Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Charismatic, Episcopalian, Quakers or Moravians, and United Methodists congregations. It lists the following core values: evangelism, spirit growth, worship, prayer, participation, global mission, teamwork and community.
