Conco Companies, founded in 1947, is a family-owned concrete company. The organization operates more than five ready-mix plants and various quarry sites. It maintains a fleet of 50 delivery trucks and employs nearly 150 people. Conco Companies wholly owned subsidiary, Conco Quarries, supplies crushed stone products to the ready-mix operations. The company provides various environmental classes for staff members and focuses on green building initiatives. It has been awarded the National Stars of Excellence Award by the National Stone, Sand, & Gravel Association. Conco Companies maintains a facility in Springfield, Mo.
