Established in 1978, Community Living is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of support services for people with developmental disabilities. It provides employment, recreational, residential and respite care services. The organization offers employment services through vocational assessment and job development programs. Community Living provides independent living assistance and residential services through group homes and supported living arrangements. It participates in various recreational activities, including sporting events, shows, dances, team sports and crafts. The organization also offers behavioral support services and training in independent living, communication and socialization skills for adults with disabilities. Community Living is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, also known as CARF. The organization maintains its administrative office in St. Peters, Mo.
