The Clayton Child Center program for infants and toddlers is a nonprofit, fully licensed, nationally and state accredited child care center. The spacious, elegant turn-of-the-century stone mansion was renovated in 1990 specifically to house the child care center and accommodate the needs of infants and toddlers. The setting, in idyllic Oak Knoll park, features a playground and plenty of park grounds for exercise. The program focuses on each child as a unique learner, and it offers balance in learning and play, nutritious food, rest and one-on-one interactions with the teachers. All lead teachers are certified parent teachers as well, through the Parents as Teachers program, and they are committed to continuing education.
