Founded in 1981 as Montessori Children's House, Chesterfield Montessori School is a nonprofit, coeducational educational institution. The school serves more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its campus includes tennis courts, playgrounds and a swimming pool. Chesterfield Montessori School has a bookstore that sells shoes, musical instruments, software, apparel and accessories, and grocery and jewelry items. The school is located in Chesterfield, Mo. Chesterfield Montessori School is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Independent Schools of St. Louis.
