Central Bank of Kansas City was chartered in August of1950 as a state-banking corporation. The bank opened in March 1951 and was moved to a larger facility in 1975. Since that time, the bank continues to expand with more than 5 locations throughout the Kansas City area. Central Bank of Kansas City has been a family owned bank since the 1960s. The United States Treasury designated the bank as a minority-owned financial institution.
