Central Missouri Food Bank is a regional disaster and hunger relief network that acquires and distributes millions of pounds of donated food annually. The food bank distributes food to people in need through a network of more than 140 agencies in over 30 counties in Missouri. These agencies in turn serve people living at or below the poverty level and those who are at greatest risk of hunger. These people assist working poor families, low-income and abused children, senior citizens, the disabled and homeless, and victims of domestic violence. The food bank is affiliated with America s Second Harvest network of more than 190 food banks across the United States. Central Missouri Food Bank is located in Columbia, Mo.
