For its 90th anniversary, Arrow Fabricare Services opened a new 6,300-square-foot building addition. The area quickly filled with equipment needed for fur and leather processing. A two-story temperature-controlled fur storage vault offers protection for as many as 1,600 coats. The company offers leather and suede care; linen, bedding and down care; dry cleaning; fire restoration; and wedding gown care. When a burn, tear or snag damages a precious garment, Arrow Fabricare Services also offers repair and reweaving services. The French invisible method of reweaving is done on very small holes, up to about the size of a dime. Inweaving is the most common reweaving process and involves placing a hidden area of the garment over the hole, which is then interwoven into the edges of the hole.
