History
Architectural Artifacts of St. Louis was once known as After the Paint and was located at 18th & Hickory in Lafayette Square. It later moved to Webster Groves, Soulard and then, by 1983, to its current location on Lafayette Avenue. We are still owned by Bruce Gerrie and we hope our customers who remember our old name will still visit us! You will certainly find something with a historical significance to St. Louis or a part you may need for your old home! We also have a reclaimed lumber business, American Timber Salvage located on the north riverfront.
Specialties
Our business specializes in architectural artifacts of all kinds large and small. We have whole cast iron storefronts, stone, decorative terra cotta and brick. We may even have that certain size hinge pin to fix a door in your historic home. Come visit us and be amazed!
