Animal Protective Association of Missouri is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people and pets together, advancing humane education and creating programs beneficial to the human/animal bond. The group offers an array of services, such as shelter and care for homeless dogs and cats, adoption services, veterinary clinic, lost and found assistance and education and outreach programs. It also provides community programs, such as PetReach animal assisted activities, domestic violence pet assistance and humane legislation advocacy. Animal Protective Association of Missouri's humane education department provides presentations to students in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
