Our business began back in January of 1950. Owners Allie and Retta Munier wanted a place for local town people and railroad workers to be able to stop in for a bite to eat. Not much has changed through the years. The building itself has great history. Over one hundred years old, the building stands tall with an authentic bar that catches the customer's eye. The building and bar survived the flood of 1993. Not only are the building and bar historic, many Al's Place employers have been employed there most of their lives. Customers like the fact that a familiar face greets them whenever dining with us. Allie and Retta's daughter Lois claimed ownership at the young age of 20. She is still the owner to this day.
