Vicksburg Catholic School is a coeducational facility that provides academic and enrichment programs to more than 550 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The Catholic school manages chess, environmental, key and library clubs, as well as a parent-teacher organization that organizes meetings. It also encourages students to take part in a selection of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, golf and cheerleading. Vicksburg Catholic School offers academic classes in Spanish, art, English, math and science and serves students from Mississippi and Louisiana. In addition, the school provides health care, guidance counseling and food services. It manages St. Francis Xavier Elementary and St. Aloysius High School. Vicksburg Catholic School employs a staff of over 70 people and offers accelerated reader and after-school care programs.
