Since 1973, URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp has provided a Jewish summer camp that serves Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and western Tennessee s young people. Its camp program boasts a close-knit community dedicated to developing new skills, assisted by its staff and coupled with Jewish values. Programs offered for children in 1st-12th grade include Kochavim, Olim, Garin, Maskilim, Talmidim, Chalutzim, NFTY in Israel and Machon work/study programs for seniors in high school. Campers also participate in a variety of programs including alpine climbing tower, camp outs, canoeing, fishing, hiking, zip line, arts and crafts, basket weaving, dance, silk screening, theater, hockey, ping-pong, basketball, swimming, kickball, running, soccer and tennis. URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp is maintained in Utica, Miss.
