Founded in 1918, Pisgah High School enrolls students in grades 7 through 12. The school provides classes in English, math, science, art, technology, computer education, journalism and social studies. It has a staff of a resource specialist, librarian and counselor. The school offers guidance counseling services, as well as opportunities to participate in various sports, including baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, tennis, and track and field. Pisgah High School also operates a student council and provides membership opportunities in the Future Farmers of America. The school has a library that includes a variety of books. Additionally, it offers various food items, such as sandwiches, pizzas, chicken nuggets and salads. Located in Brandon, Miss., Pisgah High School is governed by the Rankin County School District, which also governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
