The Old Watermill Fish Camp is a family-owned and operated restaurant built in 1973 by R. F. Lowry as a means of marketing the farm-raised catfish he produced in the lake adjacent to the restaurant. A few years after opening the restaurant, Mr. Lowry was unable to keep up with the demand of his loyal customers and began purchasing Mississippi farm-raised catfish to fill these orders.
