Founded in 1866, Mississippi Press Association is a trade organization which represents Mississippi daily and non-daily newspapers published at least once a week with general, paid circulation. As the sixth oldest press association in the United States, Mississippi Press Association continues to be a leader in newspaper excellence across the nation. The association's business affiliate, Mississippi Press Service s, was founded in 1978. Both organizations are centrally located in Jackson, Mississippi.
