Mississippi Hospital Association is a statewide trade organization that represents and serves various types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. Founded in 1931, the association provides education for state health care leaders and is a source of information on health care issues and trends. Through its representation and advocacy activities, the organization ensures that the perspectives and needs of its members are heard and addressed in national and state health policy development, judicial matters, and legislative and regulatory debates. Its member hospitals include Bolivar Medical Center, Forrest General Hospital, Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Parkwood Behavioral Health System, Winston Medical Center and Yalobusha General Hospital.
