eLearning is defined, for the purposes of accreditation review, as a formal educational process in which the majority of the instruction occurs when student and instructor are not in the same place. eLearning affords learners the opportunity to take a course anytime and anywhere. The consortium is comprised of 15 community colleges throughout Mississippi. All courses require at least one proctored exam that will require the learner to go to the campus or to a college approved location that can provide a proctor to take an exam.
