Hudspeth Regional Center, a 120 acre campus, located in Rankin County, Mississippi is a licensed intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation, which provides 24-hour care. Hudspeth is one of five state operated comprehensive regional facilities for persons with developmental disabilities/mental retardation operated under the administration of the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Mental Retardation. Hudspeth Regional Center offers an array of services and programs to children and adults living in the community and enrolled in the facility's residential program. The main service areas include community services, group home program, campus programs and administrative support program. The center was founded in 1963 and is located in Whitfield, Miss.
