Chevron Pascagoula Refinery, founded in 1963, is one of the leading petroleum refineries in the United States. The refinery processes 330,000 barrels of crude oil daily. It offers motor gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, petroleum coke, sulfur, and jet, diesel and bunker fuels. The refinery manufactures specialty products that include paraxylene, benzene and ethylbenzene for automobile tires and sporting goods. Chevron Pascagoula Refinery serves the petrochemical industry. The refinery maintains operations in the Gulf Coast and Jackson County in Missouri. It is a recipient of the Minority Business Champion Award from the Mississippi Minority Business Alliance. The refinery s manufacturing, storage and shipping facilities consist of more than 200 tanks. Chevron Pascagoula Refinery is owned by Chevron U.S.A., which is a part of Chevron Corporation. It is operated by Chevron Corporation s Global Refining Division.
