Founded in 1986, Ballet Magnificat! is one of the premier Christian ballet companies in the United States. Its dance company tours nationally and internationally in various places, such as Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Singapore, Latin America and Canada. Ballet Magnificat! School of Arts was established in 1989 and has more than 400 students enrolled. Its summer dance intensive and teacher s workshop comprises national and international teachers and students. Ballet Magnificat! s dance department is a ministry that emphasizes the role of Christ in artistic and dance training. Its music department provides students with music education. Ballet Magnificat! also has a gift shop featuring various items, such as stationery, T-shirts, compact discs, posters, postcards, autographed photographs of celebrities, videos and digital videodiscs and bumper stickers.
