Founded in 1891, the YWCA of Minneapolis is a nonprofit membership organization that serves more than 25,000 people annually. The organization manages over three health and fitness centers that include treadmills and elliptical machines. It provides group and water exercise classes weekly, as well as lifeguard and safety courses and lap and recreational swimming sessions. The YWCA of Minneapolis also publishes newsletters.
