Brothers John and Pat Schroers have operated picture-framing services since the early 1970's, and they opened the Tole Bridge in downtown Shakpee in 1977. Along with high-quality framing services, the Tole Bridge sells a full line of art supplies, including oil and acrylic paints, papers, canvas and stay board, brushes, drawing supplies and accessories. The shop also offers classes in oil, acrylic, tole and landscape painting. The Tole Bridge is also a gallery, featuring artists such as P. Buckley Moss, Terry Redlin, Les Kouba, Jim Meger and others.
