Located in Minneapolis, Edina Public Works Department serves more than 47,000 people and offers a variety of services. It maintains various streets and curbs, storm and sanitary sewers, bridges, walking paths and sidewalks, water mains, hydrants, pumping stations and wells. It has various divisions, including engineering, utility, street repair, electrical, equipment operation, and traffic sign and pavement marking. The department s utilities division monitors the water supply and provides maintenance of sanitary sewer and storm systems, including wells and lift stations. Its engineering department oversees various contract maintenance and construction projects.
