The Building for Women is an organization that promotes the safety, dignity and empowerment of women. The organization annually serves more than 30,000 women, children and men in northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, as well as Ontario. It hosts community gatherings, fundraisers, political action events and professional conferences. The Building for Women offers office, meeting and conference facilities to various nonprofit organizations on a rental basis. In addition, the organization hosts art, entertainment, spiritual, community and cultural events. It serves the Women's Health Center, Institute for a Sustainable Future and League of Women Voters Duluth. The Building for Women provides low-cost space for small organizations.
