Eagan's Rotary Club is made up of business and professional men and women who are involved in the community and work or live in Eagan. Made up of 60 clubs throughout central and southwestern Minnesota, Eagan Rotary Club is part of District 5950. 3,100 rotarians are involved in District 5950.
The Eagan Rotary Club is also a part of The Rotary Foundation, to which rotarians and friends of the foundation may contribute.
Every February, Eagan Rotary Club has a fundraiser, The Eagan Rotary Art Gala, and in 2008 the club celebrated its 20th anniversary of the event. The gala includes a dinner, silent and live auction and entertainment.
The rotary club also has a popular, annual, all-day event called the Ethics Workshop where 60 juniors and seniors from Eagan High School learn about ethics from Dr. Ken Goodpaster-Koch, Chair of Ethics at St. Thomas University, and Dave Rodbourne of the Center for Ethical Business Cultures. The workshop has grown in popularity and impacts students and rotarians alike.
