In October of 2003, working and retired seniors found their new home. They wanted to become part of the Realife Cooperative of Phalen Village as one of the 59 shareholders. After purchasing one of the shares at a reasonable price, they moved into one of the nine different spacious floor plans designed especially for them. As a owner, homeowner benefits like the mortgage interest and property taxes are deductible but the hassle free-dom of no maintenance.
