The resort recently underwent a change in management, and new owners Dave and Darlene Rose made a number of improvements, including renovation of the recreation room and office, refurbished whirlpool, new landscaping, new playground equipment, the addition of a Frisbee golf course, and new windows and upgrades in the pool area. Also, the park now offers year-round camping. The park has a very appealing location, on the banks of the Minnesota River, and close to several major entertainment venues: Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Club, Raceway Park, and Valley Fair amusement park. The SVRV Park offers discount packages to those venues, and Bluff Creek Golf Course. Also, bicycle rentals are available.
