Founded in 1873, The Duluth Bethel is a private, nonprofit human service agency in that offers a range of chemical dependency rehabilitation and community correction services for the residents of northeastern Minnesota. It operates the Bethel Port Rehabilitation Center, which can accommodate up to 30 individuals and offers Individual counseling and group therapy services. Established in 1971, the center also provides residential chemical dependency treatment services. The Duluth Bethel also manages the Bethel Outpatient Center, which administers a program that is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Established in 1984, the outpatient center offers individual treatment planning and Drug and alcohol educational services.
