HistoryWestside Storage is a family owned business that was started in 2002 by two brothers, Richard and Jim Heidecker, with one building located just 1.3 miles west of Willmar on some farm land they owned. Today it is the largest self storage facility in Willmar with eight buildings and six different unit sizes to choose from for a total of 353 units to rent. The layout for the facility allows easy access for semi's and U-Haul's with at least 40' between each building. In spring 2007 we installed a fence and gate system which is electronically controlled by our self service Insomniac kiosk that allows authorized renters 24/7 access to the facility. In July 2008 the entire facility was tarred making it even nicer. At the kiosk you are able to rent a unit, make payments with cash, check or credit card, update account information or purchase disc locks and rental insurance.
