HistoryThe Lamplighters discipleship ministry began in 1991 when a group of committed Christians met at a Bible-believing church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Interest in the Lamplighters resources grew as pastors inquired about incorporating the materials into their own churches. Hundreds of Bible studies were distributed before the ministry was formally organized to meet the demands of churches and individual believers.
