Malaysian origin, Maikido Karate was taught at Winona State University in 1981 by Joseph Chia. The current class it taught through the Winona Community Education Adult Enrichment Program, Call (507) 494-0904 to sign up. You can start anytime. Maikido, LLC provides low cost self-defense and Martial Arts training.
Specialties
Maikido students learn both striking and grappling techniques while standing and on the ground. The form stresses a scientific approach to modern self-defense. We help you advance from beginning white through advanced black belt in an encouraging environment. Our experienced instructors volunteer their time and skills making this class affordable to everyone.
