HistoryI created Chaska Children's House in the summer of 2008. After teaching 1-3 grades in Montessori for many years (I have a Minnesota teaching license for K-8), I decided to develop my home into as close to an ideal in-home Montessori preschool for young children as I could. Working from my home suits me well, and I offer children a great setting for learning within the nice downtown community of Chaska.SpecialtiesChaska Children's House is a Montessori preschool for children ages 3 years to 6 years. Children need to be toilet trained for enrollment. CCH is a specially created children's learning environment that supports the child's total growth and development. Sherry Wolfe, M. Ed., the owner and Montessori directress has over 30 years experience with children. Our school has an inticing variety of activities that children love. Our group size is small (under 12) with a good balance of individual attention and independence. The back yard is large, fenced, shaded and fun. The neighborhood is safe, with easy access to the local library, nature walks, river walk, ponds, and winter sledding.
