Founded in 1976, KMOJ Radio, operated by the Center for Communication and Development (CCD) is a radio station aired on 89.9 FM. Based in Minneapolis, Minn., the station provides broadcast communications training and serves as an information and communications medium for the African-American community. It offers training in broadcast management and administration and on-air programming through engagement, entertainment and education. KMOJ Radio is a training site for the broadcast industry in the areas of on-air announcing, public affairs programming, music programming, administration, marketing, production and management. The station features programs, such as Voices, Day O.N.E., Urban Agenda, Mid-days and Tropical Vibrations.
