Cook Hospital is a more than 10-bed, acute care, critical access hospital with an emergency room that is open 24 hours, seven days a week. The hospital provides a wide variety of services, including emergency and critical care, podiatry, geriatric, nutritional diet, physical and occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and adult day services. It offers various ancillary support services and facilities, such as an advanced laboratory and imaging services that include CT scan, ultrasound, echocardiography, mobile magnetic resonance imaging, electrocardiogram and mammography. The hospital has more than two regional ambulance units that provide emergency access, helicopter ambulance and other transportation services. It is a primary care hospital with access to secondary and tertiary care centers through technology and transportation for referrals. Cook Hospital is a member of the various organizations, including the Minnesota Hospital Association and American Hospital Association. The hospital is located in Cook, Minn.
