History
Tyler Hill, age 16, died a preventable death on a People to People Student Ambassador Trip to Japan in 2007. His family published TylerHill.org to engage and protect others. They heard from too many others whose child was hurt, raped, abandoned, abused and killed on a program abroad. They wanted to do more, they founded ClearCause.
Specialties
ClearCause provides tools and information to help parents and students determine risks and take positive steps to mitigate those risks on youth and travel programs overseas. No federal oversight, minimum guidelines, standards, transparent reporting on safety records or sanctions against poor performers exists. ClearCause voices hopes to change that with thoughtful state and federal policies. Safety is NOT an Accident. Safety means the world to America's youth & students overseas.
