The heart of Albertville faith for more than a century, St. Albert's has been a centerpiece of this community. It moved from an old, Midwestern-style chapel to its current location on 57th Street Southeast in the 1960s, and has been a mainstay as the town has grown in all directions since then.
St. Albert is adequate in size – it's not huge, but it's not too small. It has a traditional look for most 20th century church buildings, with a combination of brick and stained glass. The congregation is seated in a wedge in front of the altar.
The complex also includes a small site for parish offices and the home of the St. Albert-St. Michael youth programs for junior and senior high students.
