Children s Cancer Research Fund works with a mission to eradicate childhood cancer. It focuses on supporting pioneering research initiatives that lead to larger studies, clinical trials and improved methods of treating childhood cancer. The organization provides funds to the University of Minnesota for research and training related to the prevention, treatment and cure of childhood cancer. Children s Cancer Research Fund also educates the public about childhood cancer and supports programs for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Additionally, it administers Care Partners, which is a program that includes nonmedical support for patients and families who receive blood and marrow transplants and other treatments for cancer and blood-related disorders. Children s Cancer Research Fund maintains its headquarters in Minneapolis.
